I am a certified special education teacher and I wanted to learn more about the “Wilson Reading and Language System.”  I went to the “Lear Educational Center” to see the program being taught.  I observed both children and an adult over a two day period.  The teachers were all trained, skilled professionals and I learned a lot from them.  But what struck me the most was how excited the students were about the program.  They were being successful in reading and spelling, some for the first time in their lives.  I’ll never forget the sense of pride and accomplishment I could hear in their voices and see on their faces.  I left the “Lear Educational Center” feeling that these people were making a positive difference on the lives of their students.
