The “Wilson Reading and Language System” is fantastic! I could not read and this program gave me the skills I needed. This is like a second chance for me.

Dear Ms. Lear
Remember me? Susie Wagner... I came to see you after my senior year in high school for help with reading and comprehension. Since I left your guidance I graduated Summa Cum Laude from college with a degree in elementary education. After college I got married and began a family.
I have to greatly thank you for all your help. I highly doubt I would have been as driven or successful if it weren’t for you. You taught me skills that I will always carry with me. I attribute so many of my accomplishments to you. The skills I learned completely carried me through college and I can now pass them onto other generations. Thank You! I just wanted you to know how much you touched and changed my life.
Again, thank you so very much.
Best Regards,
Susie Conrad
My family appreciates all you do throughout the year. Thank you!

Letters from parents
Even though we have only been in the program a few months we have seen progress in our son that we have never seen before. He is finally gaining confidence in learning to read and write.
Mr. and Mrs. Zeigman
Dear Mrs. Lear,
Thanks so much for seeing our son Paul. He is now in a summer program in Massachusetts and is doing very well. Your evaluation has helped his teachers in planning our fall program.
Sincerely,
Nancy Daniel
Dear Patti,
Jason is doing great in school. Thank you again for everything you did for him. Jason reads out loud now in school and his teacher said he is doing great.

Dear Ms. Lear,
Tyler is in middle school this year and is doing great! He made the honor roll in the first marking period! At the parent conference, his teachers raved about his study skills…. We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for all that you taught him and the confidence you gave him. He is very proud of himself and actually enjoys going to school. We truly appreciate all that you and the other teachers do.
Cindy Merritt
Dear Ms. Lear
A very special thank you to you for everything you have done for Leanne. Mrs. Adler was very caring and all your staff was wonderful. We feel finding you and your center was life changing, especially for Leanne. Please know we appreciate all you have done for our family. I have and will continue to recommend you to others who need help. We will stay in touch and let you know how Leanne is doing.
Sincerely,

Thank you Patti for all the help you gave us over the years. I attribute a lot of Jill’s success to your helping her during those early years. You were equally right that nothing was going to hold her back when she got her feet on the ground.
Thank you, Patti, from the Bottom of my heart.

Dear Ms. Lear,
My son made little progress learning to read, both in public school and a private school for learning disabled students. It was not until he was taught “The Wilson Reading” method at Lear that it all made sense to him. I could almost see the light bulbs going off in his head. It’s a joy to witness.
Thank you “Lear!”
Laurie Salzman
Dear Ms. Lear,
Thank you so much for all you and your staff have done for my son, Anthony. The study skills and tutoring he received at “Lear” significantly contributed to his success this past school year. In addition to fulfilling his educational needs, you also helped him rediscover his confidence and self-esteem, which was missing for a long time.
Again, thank you and best wishes to you and your staff.

Dear Ms. Lear
I would like to take the opportunity to share the enclosed note from Tyler’s teacher. I am very pleased with his progress. His tutor Sharon has been an excellent support for Tyler. She is always willing to help with any questions or concerns that I have. Thanks for a great program!
Sincerely, Debbie Kahler
Note from the Teacher:
Debbie: I just about cried today… Tyler read at a level 20! That’s 2 levels above the expected 16 at the end of first grade!!!! I am so proud of his efforts all year and I thank you so much for your continued support from day one! Tyler is so lucky to have such a support system. It’s going to be Okay! Yeah! Watch out 2nd grade!

Lear Educational Center has been a wonderful addition to my son’s help for his Auditory Processing disorder. We came to “Lear” for help in Reading and found much more. The staff has been so supportive to meet Jack’s busy schedule and they changed teachers to make sure he was getting the full benefit out of each session. Each teacher has been a wonderful experience. He has learned so much in such a short time. I was so impressed with the system that I enrolled my older son, Nicholas. It has only been two sessions and he already is thanking me for the help he is receiving here at “Lear.” Thank you again Pat Lear. You have a wonderful team of teachers.

Our son Marc had a severe reading disability. In 8th grade he was still at a 3rd grade reading level with no signs of improvement. We had spent thousands of dollars, and hundreds of hours working with different reading programs throughout Marc’s elementary school years with very little success. We were very frustrated and so was Marc. He often questioned his own intelligence saying “I must be dumb because I can’t read.” His teachers were also frustrated. Here was a bright boy, why couldn’t he read? One teacher made this a personal challenge because Marc wasn’t the only student with this problem.
Ms. Lear hear about the “Wilson Reading and Language Program” and thought Marc to be the perfect candidate. Ms. Lear spent long hours learning this program and started working with Marc. As Marc progressed through each level he come closer to reaching his goal- to be able to read as well as his classmates. My husband and I were amazed at how quickly Marc was learning to read! To us, this was truly a miracle! Marc was starting to do his homework independently, and I never thought I would see the day when I’d walk into his room and see him reading. By the end of 9th grade Marc was reading on grade level.
Today Marc is a very confidant fifteen who is not afraid of any obstacles that come his way. After all, he has overcome the biggest obstacle with the help of Ms. Lear and the “Wilson Reading Program”.
Thank you Ms. Lear for helping our son Marc reach his full potential.
Sincerely,
Pam Wisniewski
My daughter has made wonderful progress at the “Lear Educational Center.”
The “Lear Educational Center” was able to target my child’s specific need areas and then focus on developing those areas. As a result, my child has gained greater confidence and interest in reading books, both at home and in school. Ms. Lear’s expertise, encouragement, and child centered approach to meet individualized student needs have provided a wealth of for our family. This has allowed us to use these strategies to maximize and facilitate our child’s learning potential. The “Wilson Reading and Language Program” is a structured program that has helped Beth learn the rules for reading. It is an excellent program that allows her to finally have success for all her efforts.

Dear Patti,
My daughter, Kristina, has been with you since only December. I just wanted to let you know about a small victory we experienced yesterday! We bought an electric dog collar and it needed to be electronically installed in the house and yard. Kristina actually read me most of the pretty complicated directions herself and helped to put it together. I do not think this would have been possible just a few months ago!!!
I just wanted to let you know how happy I was about this and ask you to please share this with Mrs. Dowty!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Her confidence is building!
Letters from teachers
As a reading specialist and classroom teacher with 33 years’ experience, I am pleased to endorse the “Wilson Reading Program” used here at the “Lear Educational Center.” This phonics-based, orthographic method is truly the “key” that unlocks the door blocking the students abilities to process the written word.
During my three years here at “Lear,” I have witnessed outstanding progress in all of my students, making it a rewarding experience for all of us.

I am a certified special education teacher and I wanted to learn more about the “Wilson Reading and Language System.” I went to the “Lear Educational Center” to see the program being taught. I observed both children and an adult over a two day period. The teachers were all trained, skilled professionals and I learned a lot from them. But what struck me the most was how excited the students were about the program. They were being successful in reading and spelling, some for the first time in their lives. I’ll never forget the sense of pride and accomplishment I could hear in their voices and see on their faces. I left the “Lear Educational Center” feeling that these people were making a positive difference on the lives of their students.
